INFO

Here is a link for Tangential Readings on think twice radio which features some pronouns and other poets in the Buffalo area. Please listen http://www.thinktwiceradio.com/tangent/tangent.html

Also, Kayla and I are recording our first show for our own think twice radio program this evening. if you would like to appear on it as a special guest or be a phone guest please email me at DoctorSawbones@gmail.com or email me some poetry or voice recordings and we'll get it some air time.

Here is also a link for a public access tv show hosted by Mr. Skimask where Kayla and I are reading our poetry/getting interviewed/other weird things we weren't expecting. Check it out, it's a lot of fun, we are on shows #816 and #817 http://sterlace.com/episodes/

And I also feel the need to add a poem

This house is black
no color
except disease
accept disease
The color of this house
is death
freedom from life
temple built of marvels
learn to worship
chanting poverty
barefoot and tattered

Deformed faces
giving eyes
from brick windows
molded flesh
unlucky birthright
misery

Blind nerves destroying
bones
picked clean
no adequate treatment
anymore
mind following body's lead
towards fate

Praising God for eternal
suffering
wishing wings
to fly from wickedness
on earth
grinding of bitter souls
causing crushed fingers
to cover holes called ears
and in their drooping eyes
the shadows of death

In the remote desert
cries and sighs
seeking freedom from life
The color of this house
is death

again we are looking for submissions for our next issue.please email any poems to wethenotoriousp@gmail.com

truth by letson williams

there’s only one way in
and there is    no       way         back
another                         feelie
this here?
this is the firmness of attack
and this room is
full
of the type                                                                you can see it in their eyes

you don’t want to know

everybody was looking for the double crosser
everybody was
looking
looking
looking

i didn’t bother

i knew it was you                                    and i knew what to do

i’ll tell you the truth

i will tell you the truth
there is not one reason to lie
when i get through                                                            i‘ll be dissatisfied
but                        there is now no going back
and    certainly                                     no standing in place
no make believe       no more pretty face

don’t know which way to go?
there’s just a meanness
so I gotta keep on                                                                                       gotta keep on
gotta keep     on

it’s quite clear how one thing led to the other
this will go down
as                                    just
another
another    “toughen you up”
another      “run for the coast”
another          “hand me your cup”
another                         fffffucking ghost

well, i’m gonna kill that ghost
no matter which way he goes
that fucking ghost

"lambs to the slaughter here"- patrick riedy

the whole reason to cross allen street is gone by letson williams

back then
back when there was still a reason to cross allen street.
back before berlin
back when she was red bone,
 from buffalo
when she was high yellow

when it was "if you're not a staylow, then you gotta go home.
and that means you too jared leto"

back then
one night
one little night
i heard a man
one man
a book man
the man from the book store
he was stammering and stomping like he was coming straight outta compton
spitting and bloodletting
relentless

the first word came first
it came right on the first stomp
it exploded
he said participatory
yeah, he said participatory
and then he said it again
and again and again
until it rocked with an uneven, white boy rhythm that took it's cue from when the stomp came down
and that alone

he said it again and again
"participatory participatory participatory
"participatory" "participatory" "participatory"
"democracy" "democracy"  "democracy"

yeah, yeah, yeah

he said
"participatory" "participatory"
"democracy" "democracy"
"participatory" "participatory"
"democracy" "democracy"
then some of us started saying it
then more of us started saying it
then it was back and forth,
participatory
democracy
participatory
democracy

the man said
participatory
